Biodiversity Footprinting Guidance - Understanding Key Approaches

This guide is designed to help organisations – especially companies – to understand how to measure their impact on nature. While the general approach can be implemented on any sector, the guidance is based on piloting work within agriculture, forestry and finance. It has been produced for professionals in finance, procurement, operations, strategy, and sustainability roles, and can be used regardless of the organisation’s level of experience with biodiversity. However, some sections may be better explored as a team, bringing together the various functions (e.g., procurement, quality, production, product development, etc.), to enhance understanding and successful application.
